There is nothing so small
as humiliation
abusing a power imbalance
to crush and silence another
will neither sow new seeds
of progress
nor plow new fields
of success
He who humiliates
is small indeed
and no ounce of weight
pushed down upon
a hapless foe
will change that
Respect
comes from the soil
the tender ground
on which
you and I walk
the same ground
that the tyrant robs
to build fortresses
in a cavernous pit
where no one will ever see him
